With summer coming to an end, this new month of August creates a perfect ambiance for the celebration of many interesting events. The month has started with a festival to honor the beautiful bond of Friendship i.e. Friendship Day.

August is popularly known as Romance Awareness Month which makes it the best month to celebrate romance. Sometimes it is the little things that make big difference such as holding hands, a flower, a warm hug, or spending some time together. This month is the perfect time to celebrate those beautiful romantic moments with your partner and let them know how much you care.

As we celebrate this month of Romance, there are many interesting events which will keep you occupied for the rest of the month. Here are some popular events gracing the month:

Friendship Week (August 16 -22) – ‘There is nothing on this earth more to be prized than true friendship’-Thomas Aquinas. Friendship is one of the most beautiful bonds in the world. Having true friends in our lives is like having warm sun rays giving us joy, hope and turning all our glooms into happiness. On this International Friendship Week let’s celebrate this special bond of friendship to make our friends feel loved and cared.

Senior Citizen Day (August 21): This day is celebrated to recognize the achievements of the senior citizens of our country. This day is an opportunity to show our appreciation for all their achievements and accomplishments throughout their lives.

Hug Month– A warm hug is a sweet gesture of love and affection that strengthens the bond between two people. A gesture of embrace offers a sense of safety and care to your loved ones. So, it’s time to show them your love with gentle hugs this Hug Month.
