As a new user, I wondered if anyone could tell me if it is possible to embed some of my videos from YouTube onto this site? I have seen some already available on here from YouTube so I guess it must be possible. I have tried searching for instructions but to no avail. Can anybody help?

Hi Steve,

From My card->Upload a card->Easy Upload page on http://studio.123greetings.com , you can easily upload a video file. The possible video formats are on http://studio.123greetings.com/wiki/ind ... Card_Types

Please ensure the video is less than 5 MB, and the dimension meets that criteria listed on http://studio.123greetings.com/wiki/index.php/Dimension

It is not possible to take the source code of a YouTube video file and upload it at 123Greetings.

We hope that the information was helpful. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Hi Alana,

Only 123Greetings can upload YouTube videos as ecards using the source code of YouTube videos.

However, if you have a YouTube video, and would like to upload that an ecard on our site, please follow the instructions below:

a. Open your Youtube video in Internet Explorer

b. Go to your “Temporary Internet Files” folder. If you are using Windows, it is usually in “C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

c. There you will see files with the name “videoplayback?...”. Just change the name of the file, and add an extension with “.flv”.

d. Then simply upload the .flv file in 123Greetings Studio. We accept files with .flv format.

Thanks,
Studio Team

thank you for the reply, but I do not want to upload my videos as .flv files. How does someone go about getting 123Greetings to upload a youtube video using the source code as you described below? Is there a submission process I would need to go through? I am very interested in this if someone can get back to me, it would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Hi Alana,

Currently we do not have the provision for YouTube artists to embed their videos directly in our platform. Only 123Greetings can embed YouTube videos on www.123greetings.com. If other artists want to take advantage of getting exposure to more than 110 M visitors who come to our site every year, they will have to upload their videos through 123Greeting Studio. To market your YouTube videos, you can always mention your YouTube profile page link in your 123Greeting Studio profile and in the cards. Other marketing tips are available on http://studio-source.123g.info/wiki/ind ... _Marketing.

Check out how this artist has promoted her website: http://www.123greetings.com/profile/miki_moore/

Thanks,
